Packaging — bulk despatch

Tanker loading
spouts and systems.

The largest pack size of all: a road tanker, loaded through a telescopic spout that keeps the powder in and the weather out.

A powder road tanker connected to TLG silos, discharging through a flexible hose

In brief

Tanker loading systems transfer powder from silo to road tanker through telescopic loading spouts — dust-skirted, level-sensing bellows that follow the fill. TLG engineers the loading system with the silo discharge and weighing behind it, for despatch at declared weight without airborne loss.

In detail

How it works.

A loading spout is a bellows within a bellows: product falls through the centre while displaced dusty air returns through the annulus to a filter. Level probes raise the spout as the load builds. Weighbridge or loss-in-weight control closes the valve at target.
