Processing — product protection

Magnetic separation
for product protection.

Somewhere upstream, steel is wearing. Magnets are how it ends up in a housing instead of a customer complaint.

Rotary magnet installed in a TLG convey line

In brief

Magnetic separators hold rare-earth magnetic elements in the powder stream — grate magnets in hoppers, drawer magnets in chutes, bullet magnets in convey lines — capturing ferrous fragments from worn equipment before they reach the product. TLG supplies and integrates separation at the points HACCP analysis puts them.

In detail

How it works.

Every rotating machine sheds ferrous wear eventually. Placement is risk analysis: after intake, after size reduction, before packing. Modern rare-earth elements hold work-hardened stainless fines that older ferrite magnets miss, and easy-clean designs make the captured-metal check a one-minute task with a record.

Formats
Grate/finger, drawer, plate and bullet in-line magnets
Elements
Rare-earth (Nd) high-intensity, food-grade sleeves
Cleaning
Easy-clean pull-out designs, captured-fragment inspection
Placement
Per HACCP — intake, post-milling, pre-packing
