Dairy — sports supplements
Whey proteins, creatine, flavour systems and actives — blended products whose label claim depends on the mix surviving to the scoop.

In brief
Sports supplement manufacture is blending at its most demanding: proteins, carbohydrates, flavours and actives of different densities that want to segregate in every transfer. TLG builds supplement lines around anti-segregation design — short mass-flow paths from mixer to pack — with accurate dosing and fast allergen changeover.
The powder problem
A tub that assays right at the top and wrong at the bottom failed in the conveying, not the mixer. Segregation happens in every drop, every surge hopper, every long dilute-phase line — so supplement plants are laid out to blend late and pack close.
Changeover is the other economics: flavour and allergen switches must be fast and verifiable, favouring tool-free strip-down conveyors and equipment that cleans in minutes.
The process — stage by stage
Every stage below is equipment TLG designs and builds — follow any of them into the solutions range.
Sacks and bulk bags enter the line contained — dust captured at the tip point, foreign objects screened out.
Transfer matched to the powder — pneumatic phase chosen for friability, mechanical for short controlled runs.
Silos with discharge engineered to the powder's measured flow properties — storage that empties reliably.
Every ingredient weighed to recipe on isolated load cells, majors to minors, with the batch record generated automatically.
Blenders matched to the recipe's shear tolerance, with discharge designed so the blend survives to the pack.
Magnets hold ferrous wear metal; check-sieves reject oversize — placed where HACCP analysis puts them.
Filling by weight on live load cells — densified, dust-sealed bags that stack and ship at declared weight.
Capture at every transfer point, ducted to reverse-jet filtration — hygiene, compliance and recovered product.
One control system sequencing the whole line — recipes, interlocks and records included.
